Summer Program
Summer is a great time to go on vacation and play in the pool. We respect our family's wishes to 'stop the school schedule' and slow down for the summer time.
At Keller Montessori we offer the best Summer Camp schedule for kids who want to relax in the summer but, who are still up for some fun learning!
Starting the week after Memorial Day we spend two cool days per week for 6 weeks having an exciting learning adventure. Our school day is shortened and we only go to school on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Hey, we even start the day with recess (it gets too hot later in the day) !
If Mom and Dad have a vacation planed during part of Summer Camp that's O.K..
Children can attend some or all of the weeks that Summer Camp is offered.
Since it's usually very hot outside we find some great ways to cool off. The first is our interesting units. We may study sea life or dinosaurs but, always have some fascinating fun. The second way we cool off is just to play in some water. Every Thursday of Summer Camp we get out the shallow wading pools and experiment with the wet stuff!
Children ages 2½ through 7 are eligible to attend Summer Camp. We have many sweet children who only attend our Summer Camp program and attend other schools during the school year. We even had one little fellow who came from out of state. He came to Summer Camp while he was visiting his grandma in Keller.
